Upskirt Pervert Jailed

A SALES manager who took about 200 upskirt videos of unsuspecting women with a camera pen was sentenced to nine months' jail on Tuesday.

Soo Ee Hock, 35, intends to appeal and bail of $20,000 was offered.
The married man had pleaded guilty two weeks ago, to 12 of 201 counts of intruding into the privacy of women between November 2008 and March last year.

He would clip the pen with a built-in video camera onto his laptop bag and place it under the skirt of the unknown female standing in front of him on an escalator, to capture an upskirt digital video recording of her thighs and underwear.

He was arrested at Junction 8 Bishan Shopping Centre on July 7, 2009.
District Judge Lee Poh Choo said Soo knew full well what he was doing and was a serial offender.

She said he intended to keep those images for a long time as he had burnt them onto a CD, and 'that shows the extent of his perverted mind'.

Soo could have been jailed for up to one year and/or fined on each charge.

SPM student reports sexploits with tuition teacher

A 17-year-old boy reportedly became the sex slave of his tuition teacher for four years, reported China Press.

The teenager from Johor Baru was sexually abused by the teacher, who taught Mathe- matics and Science from his home.

The newspaper reported that the teacher would play pornographic movies during tuition classes. Apparently, the teacher would also force the student to have oral sex and sodomised him repeatedly.

The boy decided to reveal his ordeal after his SPM examination ended.
He told his father about it and the teacher was arrested at his home on Monday following a police report.

Beauty queen's outfit falls short of Japanese tastes

Japan's finalist for the Miss Universe pageant has modified her costume after triggering a storm of protest with her outfit -- a black leather kimono so short it exposed her hot-pink underwear.
The blog of Emiri Miyasaka, 25, who is set to represent her country at the contest in the Bahamas this month, was flooded with indignant comments over the daring creation which also featured lacy garter belts.
Many said the outfit, first unveiled on a catwalk at a Tokyo media conference last month, was crass and sleazy.
"We are just surprised by the harsh comments from many people," said a staff member at IBG Japan, the fashion and entertainment company which organises the Japanese part of the Miss Universe competition.
IBG said the kimono was originally longer, but that its designer and Japan's director of the Miss Universe Organization Ines Ligron decided to shorten it in a hasty decision taken before the press conference.
The company now says Miyasaka will wear a less revealing design during Miss Universe events leading up to the August 23 finals.
Ligron -- who has for more than a decade trained Japan's contestants, including 2007 Miss Universe Riyo Mori -- has in the past said she is seeking to evolve Japan's conservative sense of beauty.
After the latest furore, she wrote in her blog: "The conservative and fashion dinosaurs are criticising her costume, meanwhile the fashionistas love it. I care only about the movers and shakers in the fashion industry."
